PokerStars.fr wird ab dem 13. Februar nur noch für Spieler, die in Frankreich wohnen zugänglich sein. Der Poker Room informierte betroffene Kunden, dass sie diese Woche noch spielen dürfen, ab Montag jedoch nur noch auszahlen können.
In Frankreich ist der Online Poker-Markt reguliert. Trotz der sogenannten Insellösung sind die Franzosen nicht komplett unter sich, denn während der Spielerpool zwar vom Rest der Welt abgeschirmt ist, so dürfen einige Spieler, darunter Deutsche, sich einen ‚französischen Account‘ erstellen.
Dies ist nun vorbei, denn der Poker Room wirft kommende Woche alle Spieler, die keinen Wohnsitz in Frankreich oder den französischen Überseegebieten haben, raus. Gründe werden keine genannt.
Eine Möglichkeit ist, dass die fremden Spieler nicht rentabel sind. So trennte man sich beispielsweise vor rund einem Jahr aufgrund von doppelter Besteuerung von den Spielern aus Österreich.
Eine zweite Möglichkeit wäre der geplante Online Poker-Markt mit Italien, Portugal und Spanien. Da es in den vier Ländern unterschiedliche Auflagen gibt, welche Spieler angenommen werden, scheint es plausibel, dass ein neuer Standard festgelegt wird.
Spannend ist hierbei, dass die Regulierungsbehörde aus dem Vereinigten Königreich ebenfalls mit am Tisch sitzen soll. Denkbar wäre eine ‚große Insel‘, die sich aus fünf Märkten zusammensetzt.
Winamax will Spieler aus dem Ausland weiter spielen lassen. Zumindest vorerst, denn die Franzosen gaben kürzlich bekannt, dass sie Lizenzen in Spanien, Portugal, Italien und dem Vereinigten Königreich anstreben.

If you have any unused T€ and/or Tournament Tickets in your account, they will automatically be converted into their equivalent cash value upon entering the Cashier from February 13 onwards.
You are welcome to use your StarsCoin to purchase any items from the VIP Store, with the exception of online tournament tickets. Any funds resulting from these purchases will be immediately available for withdrawal.
