An Tag 2 beim € 1.100 Main Event der PokerStars Italian Poker Tour (IPT) Malta sind die Geldränge erreicht worden. Noch sind es aber 168 Spieler, die um die Siegesprämie von € 221.200 spielen. Chipleader aktuell ist Hugo Lemaire.
514 der 1.285 Starter hatten sich für den zweiten Tag qualifiziert, Chipleader war Berardino Palmieri vor Do Chung Tran. Das erste Ziel der verbliebenen Spieler waren natürlich die 191 bezahlten Plätze. Schneller als erwartet war man dann auf der Bubble angelangt. Auch in der Bubble Phase ging es sehr schnell und Tadas Gromas ging als Bubble Boy leer aus. Er war mit den Assen gegen die Jacks von Igor D’Ursel all-in, das Board 
und damit waren die Asse von Tadas geknackt. Er ging leer aus, während die anderen 191 zumindest € 1.740 sicher hatten.
Nach Platzen der Bubble wurde noch ein Level gespielt und in dieser Zeit mussten noch 23 weitere Spieler an die Rail. Mit 168 Spielern ging der Tag zu Ende und mit dabei sind neben den Team PokerStars Pros Jan Heitmann auch die Belgier Christophe und Matthias de Meulder. Die Führung sicherte sich Hugo Lemaire mit 689.500 Chips, Mike Neuens ist ihm dicht auf den Fersen. Einige Deutsche sind noch mit dabei, Markus Kuhnen hat mit Rang 9 aktuell die beste Position.
