Bei der World Championship of Online Poker 2018 auf PokerStars spielte die deutschsprachige Poker-Community in den High-Turnieren drei Siege ein. Dazu schnappte sich Lapideum Platz 2 im Sunday Million.
Tag 2 der WCOOP 2018 brachte die Entscheidung bei insgesamt sechs Events. Der größte Preisgeldtopf wurde in der $215 Sunday Million Special Edition ausgespielt. Dort ging es um die Löwenanteile der insgesamt $1,36 Millionen.
Den Sieg machten am Ende der Rumäne jah1923 ($193.055,14) und Lapideum ($132.753,26) aus Deutschland untereinander aus. Ebenfalls einen beachtlichen Cash schnappte sich der Schwede Daniel „42ayay“ Erlandsso, der das $2.100 NLHE für $147.384,81 holte.
Die deutschsprachige Poker-Gemeinde verbuchte insgesamt drei Siege. BrightStripe ($76.314,44) setzte sich im $1.050 NLHE durch. nilsef ($74.459,48) holte das $2.100 NLHE 8-Max Win the Button.
Im $2.100 NLHE 8-Max Progressive KO gab es sogar einen DACH-Doppelsieg. Dort setzte sich nailuj90 ($96.971,08 + $87.312,49) aus Österreich gegen Armani1974 ($72.075,64 + $32.812,51) aus Deutschland durch.
