Tag 16 der WCOOP 2019 brachte 21 Entscheidungen. Die deutschsprachige Poker-Community durfte einen Sieg bejubeln. Diesen sowie $6.126,74 Preisgeld holte Alesxy18 im $5,50 NLHE.
Im $11 NL 2-7 Single Draw schrammten Blackbeaty (2./$1.320,11) und Bambibus42 (3./$1.301,92) knapp an einem Sieg vorbei. Jeweils Rang 3 gingen zudem an ThomiDaHomi ($28.600; $2.100 HORSE) sowie -t,tq-,zft@z ($35.999,50; $55+R NLHE).
Weitere nennenswerte Cashes gingen an keksi_sn (5./$18.783,64; $530 NLHE), pappadogg (8./$14.777,23; $530+R NLHE; Foto) und Ole „wizowizo“ Schemion (7./$8.213,51; $530 NLHE 6-Max, Turbo).
Im $10.300 NLHE 8-Max Progressive KO High Roller auf PokerStars kehrten 17 Spieler zurück und kämpften um die Löwenanteile von mehr als $1,4 Millionen. Europameister WATnlos ($21.304,60 + $23.437,50) musste sich auf Rang 9 geschlagen geben.
Den Sieg schnappte sich Dario „Secret_M0d3“ Sammartino (Foto). Der Wahlösterreicher kassierte $155.327,76 Preisgeld sowie $215.859,37 an Bounties. Sein Landsmann Gianluca „Tankanza“ Speranza, der ebenfalls unter österreichischer Flagge spielt, schlug im $530+R NLHE (9./$11.084,73) und im $530 NLHE 6-Max Turbo (3./$28.567,88) zu.
Zu den weiteren Siegern des Tages gehörten Sam „€urop€an“ Vousden ($89.781,97; $530+R NLHE), Naoya „nkeyno“ Kihara ($27.300; $1.050 NL 2-7 Single Draw) sowie Patrick „pmahoney22“ Mahoney ($56.670,83; $530 NLHE 6-Max Turbo).
