Gestern, den 3. März, lud man zu den 4. Global Poker Awards im Aria Resort & Casino, insgesamt 27 Trophäen wurden verliehen.
Obwohl es die „Global“ Poker Awards sind, liegt der Fokus doch sehr stark auf den USA und viele der Trophäen blieben auch dort. Das King’s war mit dem Livestream nominiert, aber hier ging der Award dann doch an Hustler Casino Live. Für Robbi Jade Lew gab es zudem einen eigenen Award für die J4 Hand gegen 89 von Garrett Adelstein.

Auch Dan Cates warf sich in Schale und freute sich über die Trophäe für die beste Final Table Performance.

Ebenfalls unter den Gewinnern war Phil Ivey (bestes Comeback), aber auch das Wynn für das beste Event. Das WSOP Bracelet wurde als beste Trophäe ausgezeichnet, Jack Effel von der WSOP als „Best Industry Person“ geehrt.
