Von 19. August bis 19. September dreht sich die Pokerwelt um die Luxon Pay Mediterranean Poker Party im Merit Royal Diamond auf Zypern. Teil des Festivals ist das $200.000 Coin Rivet Invitational, bei dem Freizeitspieler und Pros aufeinandertreffen. Weltmeister Espen Jorstad wird ebenso dabei sein wie Phil Ivey.
Rob Yong vereint bei der MPP die verschiedenen Pokertouren wie EAPT, Imperium, Malta Poker Festival, Ladies First, Irish Open, Triton und auch The Festival. Ein Monat lang bietet man für die verschiedenen Bankrolls beste Pokerunterhaltung. Die letzten beiden Wochen ab dem 5. September sind durch die High Roller und die Triton Series geprägt. Das teuerste Event aber ist das Coin Rivet Invitational mit einem Buy-In von $200.000.
Das Turnier wird von 10. bis 12. September gespielt, ein Re-Entry ist erlaubt. Das Format kennt man schon aus London – auf jeden Businessman kommt ein Pro. An Tag 1 spielen die Freizeitspieler und die Pros getrennt, erst ab Tag 2 wird 
gemischt. Das Turnier ist auf maximal 64 Spieler begrenzt – 32 Businessleute und 32 Pros. Wie schon beim Triton Million in London 2019 bleiben die Grenzen zwischen Pros und Unterhaltungsspielern eher verschwommen, denn die ersten Paarungen stehen schon fest. Rob Yong hat Weltmeister Espen Jorstad eingeladen, Paul Phua Phil Ivey. Bobby Baldwin kommt mit Ben Lamb, Paul Newey präsentiert Steve O’Dwyer.
