2.120 Entries sind es beim € 174 + 25 Main Event der German Poker Days im King’s Resort Rozvadov geworden. Trotz der überwältigenden deutschsprachigen Beteiligung war es am Ende der Franzose Riadh Ben Farhat, der über den Sieg und € 54.200 + € 10.350 WSOPE Main Event Ticket jubelte.
Die € 300.000 Preisgeldgarantie (inkl. 4 x € 10.350 WSOPE Main Event Tickets) war schon vor Start des letzten Turbo Flights geknackt worden. Der Turbo Heat gestern, den 11. September, brachte dann aber auch noch 266 Starter und 40 Re-Entries, womit sich die Gesamtzahl auf 2.120 Entries (1665 + 450) erhöhte. Im Pot landeten damit nach Abzug der 5 % Fee € 350.436.
Da die Flights bis zum Erreichen der Geldränge gespielt worden waren, hatten alle bereits € 400 sicher, als es am Nachmittag dann ins Finale ging. Die Payouts stiegen wie gewohnt nur flach an, aber am Final Table gab es dann dicke Schecks. Die Top 4 kassierten neben dem Preisgeld eben auch das € 10k WSOPE Main Event Ticket. Obwohl vor allem die deutschen Spieler das Feld und die Geldränge dominierten, blieb ihnen der Sieg dann aber doch verwehrt. Dennis Schmidt schied auf der Ticket Bubble mit Rang 5 (€ 12.550) aus. Günter Don, Frederik Thiemer und Matthias Nachtigal konnte sich über das Ticket und dicke Schecks freuen, aber der Sieg für insgesamt € 54.200 + Ticket ging an den Franzosen Riadh Ben Farhat.
Einmal noch kommen German Poker Days in diesem Jahr ins Kings, von 8. bis 11. Dezember geht es beim € 199 Main Event wieder um garantierte € 300.000. Im King’s geht es nun aber gleich mit Vollgas weiter, ab morgen heißt es „$ZTO$ trifft Big Wrap“. Heute Abend sorgt das € 130 + 20 Big Monday (€ 10.000 GTD) für Abwechslung.
