WSOP 2015 Event #43: Premiere der Super Seniors

Tag 1 beim $1.000 Super Seniors No Limit Hold’em Event der World Series of Poker 2015 ist beendet. 253 der Ü65-Spieler haben den Cut überstanden und kehren für Tag 2 zurück.

Zum ersten Mal in der Geschichte der WSOP gab es ein Super Seniors Event. Teilnahmeberechtigt sind alle Spieler ab dem Alter von 65 Jahren. Auch aus den Reihen der Poker-Pros gab es ein paar Teilnehmer.

So Doyle Brunson, der sein erstes Turnier bei der diesjährigen Serie spielte. Für das Poker-Urgestein kam das Ende jedoch vorzeitig. Ebenso für TJ Cloutier, Tom McEvoy und Steve Zolotow.

Nach elf Blind Levels wurde eingepackt. Die drei Big Stacks sind Henry Hannigan (115.000), Robert Galinson (110.200) und Dennis Waterman (103.600). Insgesamt 253 Spieler haben den Cut überstanden, 171 von ihnen werden im Geld landen.
