Es war das große Aufräumen an Tag 2 beim $3.500 WPT Championship Event beim Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown 2023, nur 107 Spieler gehen in Tag 3. Alex Nguyen ist der Chipleader.
Von den 2.290 Entries waren es noch 765 Spieler, die in Tag 2 gingen. Das erste Ziel waren die 287 Geldränge, die einen Min-Cash von $5.750 sicherten. Von den vier deutschsprachigen Spielern sollte es nur einer ins Geld schaffen, Fabian Quoss, Giuseppe Pantaleo und Tom Kunze gingen leer aus.
Zur Dinner Break platzte die Bubble, oder besser gesagt, als die Spieler in die Pause gingen, wurde durchgezählt und festgestellt, dass die Bubble schon geplatzt war. Manuel Fritz war der letzte Österreicher, er musste sich dann aber mit Rang 233 für $5.850 verabschieden.
Das Tempo blieb den ganzen Tag über sehr hoch, nur 107 Spieler blieben am Ende übrig. Alex Nguyen holte mit 2.570.000 Chips die Führung, weiterhin ist Ethan „Rampage“ Yau unter den Big Stacks (2.135.000), auch Natasha Mercier (1.835.000), Matthew Wantman (1.445.000), Jeff Madsen (1.405.000), Taylor von Kriegenbergh (1.090.000), Gal Yifrach (715.000), Ryan Riess (605.000) oder Chance Kornuth (330.000) sind unter anderem noch dabei.
Alle haben $9.050 bereits sicher, ‚Tag 3 beginnt bei den Blinds 15k/25k/25k.
