1.000 Spieler starteten in Runde 1 beim Shootout, die Tischsieger qualifizierten sich jeweils für Runde 2 und haben damit auch schon den Min-Cash von $5.835 sicher. George Danzer meldete sich beim Shootout bei der WSOP zurück, musste aber ebenso in Runde 1 gehen wie Ryan Riess, Scott Seiver, Kenny Hallaert, Nick Schulman oder Jeff Platt. Im Heads-up unterlag George Danzer Chris Moorman.
Von den DACHs konnten Pierre Mothes und Daniel Rezaei ihre Tische gewinnen und gehen in Runde 2. Dort bekommt es Daniel unter anderem mit Mustapha Kanit, JJ Liu und Noah Bronstein zu tun, Pierre Mothes hat es am Nebentisch mit Nick Yunis, Aaron Massey oder auch Angel Aguilar zu tun.
Die jeweiligen Tischsieger steigen dann ins Finale auf, auf den Sieger des Shootout warten $240.480.
