Die vier deutschsprachigen Vertreter hatten an Tag 2 beim $1.000 Super Seniors Event # 59 der World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2022 Feierabend, 87 Spieler dürfen noch auf das Bracelet hoffen.
Mit 706 der 2.699 Entries war es in Tag 2 gegangen, Markus Brunner, Matthias Kribben, Peter Splettstösser und Ivo Donev waren die deutschsprachigen Vertreter. Das erste Ziel waren die 401 Geldränge, die den Min-Cash von $1.601 sicherten. Mehr sollte es bei Ivo Donev (384) nicht werden, Markus Brunner erwischte es auf Rang 279 für $1.751, Matthias Kribben auf Rang 178 ($2.465) und schließlich auch Peter Splettstösser, der für Rang 102 $2.776 einstreichen konnte.
Ohne deutschsprachige Beteiligung geht es damit in Tag 3, alle haben bereits $3.624 sicher. Bis zum Bracelet und $330.609 Siegprämie ist es aber doch noch ein weiter Weg. Mit dabei ist noch Titelverteidiger Jean-Luc Adam, die Führung hat Robert Schuler vor Massoud Eskandari. Barny Boatman ist unter den Big Stacks, auch Schauspieler James Woods darf asl Shortstack noch hoffen. An Tag 3 soll bis auf fünf Spieler gespielt werden.
