Bei der WSOP 2024 ist das $25.000 HORSE High Roller gestartet. Zahlreiche renommierte Poker-Pros versuchten sich bei diesem Prestige-Event. Vorzeitig an die Rails mussten unter anderem Daniel Negreanu, Jen Harman, Joao Vieria, Brandon Shack-Harris, David “ODB” Baker sowie der $3.000 HORSE Sieger Gary Bolden.
Allerdings ist die Anmeldung beziehungsweise das Re-Entry noch innerhalb des ersten Blind Levels von Day 2 möglich, so dass einige Spieler sicherlich einen zweiten Anlauf starten werden.
Am Starttag kamen 95 Entries zusammen, 58 Spieler packten am Ende ein. Das Feld wird von Paul Volpe (650.000) und dem Chinese Xixiang Luo (637.000) angeführt. Ebenfalls in Tag 2 steht Johannes Becker (54./74.000).
