Bei den Sunday Majors auf PokerStars räumte die deutschsprachige Poker-Community zwei Siege ab. cold_smile holte das Super-Sized Sunday und Manni1822 schnappte sich das Sunday Grand.
Auch wenn fast die ganze Aufmerksamkeit der SCOOP 2017 gilt, so gibt es auch abseits der großen Serie geballte Action. Das $700 Super-Sized Sunday lockte 902 Spieler an, so dass es um jeweils $299.915 an Preisgeldern sowie Kopfgeldprämien ging.
cold_smile ließ alle Gegner hinter sich und kassierte die Siegprämie in Höhe von $38.460,22. Zudem gab es für den Deutschen $33.883,50 an Bounties. Sein Landsmann nilsef ($39.042,62 + $12.676,44) belegte Rang 3.
Der zweite Sieg ging an Manni1822, der sich beim $1.050 Sunday Grand durchsetzte und $53.014,71 mit nach Hause nahm. Mit am Final Table saßen Daniel „w00ki3z.“ Cates (2./$39.428,07; Foto) und Nick „TheTakeover“ Schulman (3./$29.323,49).
Knapp an einem Sieg vorbeigeschrammt ist Suhepxm. Der Spieler aus Österreich musste sich beim $1K PLO 6-Max nur dem Litauer Grazvis1 ($45.408,63) geschlagen geben und kassierte $33.331,15. Weitere nennenswerte Cashes gingen an vsex parwu (6./$5.100,04; Sunday Storm) und ChiphunterTH (6./$5.191,82; Sunday Cooldown).
